Instructions before miracle…

As I sit and reflect on the things that God has done in my life recently, I’m in awe of His great works in me. If you would’ve asked me where do you think you will be at the end of year two for Braveheart Ministries? I wouldn’t have said attending speaking engagements. But, God has made a way to be able to share my testimony to break chains off of people and I’m so grateful.

Now, let me ask you this… When you look back on this past year and as you reflect on the things that you want to come to pass next year, can you say that you can write out a plan to make sure it all comes to pass?

It’s funny how we expect things to happen when we don’t put any action behind it. I’m not just talking to you; I’m talking to myself as well. I can say I want to write a book, but if I don’t actually take the steps to follow through with the steps it takes to put a book together, the book is never going to be finished and ready to publish.

I remember back in Bible College; Pastor Parsley would always say “there comes instruction before your miracle!”

This is a common theme in the Bible, where God would tell someone to do something and after they did it, they experienced a miracle. This can happen for your life as well. Jesus will tell you to do something, but it is up to you to do the thing, or guess what?! It’s never going to get done, and you’re not going to experience your miracle.

If you want a successful business, you have to do the research to build it up. If you want happiness, you have to cut away things that are making you sad. If you want to have a spouse, you have to start preparing yourself for a spouse. If you want to lose weight, change your eating habits, and go to the gym. Whatever your goal is, what are you doing now to see that thing come to pass in this next year?

If you haven’t started… START!

I just recently experienced a miracle a few weeks ago, but I “prepared” myself for that moment. God gave me instruction and because I followed that instruction, I was able to experience a miracle that I have only dreamed about. Details to come later on that story!

I say all of this to say, if you want something done, you have to put in the time, the effort, and the sacrifice. Action always comes before progress. It’s not too late to start new, it’s not too late to start fresh, and it’s not too late to start praying and asking God for His instructions so that you can experience your miracle.

Your progress in the matter that you’re struggling with will come after the action steps you decide to take!
