What is your destination?

Everyone has a different walk in life. People have different paths they take to get to their destination. Whatever walk or path one may use or take, they all have one thing in common; a final destination. What is your final destination in life? I’m not talking about your eternal destination; I’m talking about your final destination here on Earth.

Some people’s destination may be success in business; CEO of a company. Others may see marriage or kids as their destination, or maybe a top recording artist as their destination. What about getting a degree as a destination. Whatever your destination is, what are you doing to get there?

In reaching a destination you have directions or may already know the route to get there. When trying to reach the destination, you need goals in place, you need directions, you need a blueprint, you need wisdom. All of these things play a part in reaching your destination.

One thing I found out is when I try to do things on my own, I tend to get lost. It’s like I get directed straight into a storm. Now, I go into survival mode and try to escape the storm in my own works. I’ve had to learn to trust God in my storms and ask Him to direct my steps. It’s the only way that I end up at the destination I’m intended to be at in that season.

You need to remember to always ask God to direct your steps. He will direct you to the people you need. He will direct you to the places you need to go. He will direct you to where your provision is. Even when you go on a rabbit trail, ask God to direct your steps again. Know that you are never so far away that He won’t direct your steps back to the place you are intended to be at in that season.

You may get re-routed from time to time, but just make sure that you end up back at the destination that you were intended to be at. It’s okay to take different routes in life, but always make sure you get back to your destination. It isn’t fun being lost in a storm, it can be scary at times, but when you put your faith and trust in God, no storm will be able to take you out.

Also, if you’re not to your destination yet, don’t be discouraged. You keep doing what you need to do to get to your destination. God won’t fly you to your final destination, but He will guide you, and give you the directions you need. Then the rest is up to you.

Know where you’re walking to and know who’s guiding you. Trust me, it will save you a lot of hurt, pain, and storms. If you put your hope, faith, and trust in God, He will make sure that you make it to the destination you are meant to be at in this season. Storms don’t last forever, they pass over, and the streets become clear again. Your directions and clear skies are on the way! Get ready, you won’t need your raincoat anymore.
